In fact, he himself has appeared to be dozing on numerous occasions, including the funeral of Pope Francis.

On the other hand George Carlin did say that he and his friends used to swim in the polluted east River of New York saying, “none of them got sick,” which is understandable to many doctors, because if one never has exposure to germs one is less likely to develop antibodies and more likely to get sick.
However yes, Kennedy is definitely unfit to run the US Health Dept. and probably amounts to being a ploy used by Trump in a country and world where anti-vaccines conspiracies have a great effect on many parents whose blame their Children’s Autism on vaccines. Remember how Trump kept downplaying the role of Covid19 in spreading the pandemic, and how rumors were spread about microchips hidden in the Covid vaccine being used to “control” people, and that, being required to wear a mask was a direct assault on our personal freedoms? Trump may been in favor of beating Covid, but isn’t it strange that he never actually did or said anything to dispel such conspiratorial falsehoods? Instead he recommended injecting bleach into sufferers as the real Doctors with him during his press conferences, visibly squirmed when they were asked to confirm such anti-science quackery while they avoided making eye contact with him?
It seems obvious to me that Trump was trying to diffuse his political liability caused by his failure to end the Covid epidemic, and instead tried to dump the who thing on Biden.
