Two Weeks In Stupid (Aug. 4-17)

A big welcome back to Stupidville to Ben Shapiro; it just hasn’t been the same without you, Benny. Defending the fascist administration’s efforts to Nazify the Smithsonian (as it is doing to everything else in the country), he said, “The Smithsonian has had some problems being infiltrated by woke”. That’s right, I’ve been there several times, and I’ve always seen Archie Bunker’s chair on display. Not content with this level of self-humiliation, he added, “Now, again, this is a game that the left has been playing for a long time. They take a venerable institution like the Smithsonian. They gut it. They wear the face around like Hannibal Lecter. (What is it with right-wingers invoking a cannibalistic serial killer? Your only president, Ben, expressed admiration for Ol’ Hannibal.) And then they pretend that if you say, hey, things need to change here, you’re attacking the institution itself. But it’s too late. It’s already been gutted.” And he praises the Fascist Felon for trying to “change the cultural conversation around what America is.” Yeah, one might say that.

Speaking of the Smithsonian, Congressman Eric Burilson (R-MO) is convinced that the woke museum complex has been hiding skeletons of Nephilim, the race of giants mentioned in the Bible. And by golly, he’s declared that he’s going to force the wokers to unveil those sacred bones. Let’s hope he does. And that he also badgers them into releasing the dragon scales and unicorn horns. Americans all deserve to see these treasures.

And where would Stupidville be without Charlie Kirk? Lately he’s been wearing his swastikas proudly: “The great replacement of white people is far more sinister than any redistricting project.”And Representative Jasmine Crockett, he says, is part of “an attempt to eliminate the white population in this country.”

As you no doubt heard, everybody’s least favorite Superman, Dean Cain, announced he’d joined ICE, proclaiming that “This country was built on patriots stepping up, whether it was popular or not, and doing the right thing.” Nothing like locking up innocent brown people to promote truth, justice, and the American way. Why is it that the people who are least convincing in the role of superhero are always themselves most convinced of their own performances? Anyway, the good news is that boycotting his contributions to film and TV won’t be difficult at all.

Sen. Tim Scott: “The closest thing to perfect in this world, from a country perspective, is the United States.” Fascism is perfect, folks. But only from a country perspective, you understand.

Mylie Biggs, the daughter of Arizona congressional bootlicker Andy Biggs, has made it very clear that she doesn’t believe women should run for public office. So now she’s… running for public office. You didn’t really think that her proposed restrictions for other people were meant to apply to her too, did you? Still, it’s not quite clear what she hopes to accomplish with her candidacy, since she’s already said that people shouldn’t vote for her.

[Birth control] “fits into the globalist, eugenicist, depopulationist, Bill Gates, one world government, neo-Malthusian [Margaret] Sanger demons.”– Seth Gruber

“They took the paddle out of the school and everything collapsed…But when you take the Second Amendment away from so many citizens in these liberal cities, they can’t protect themselves, and so now these kids that don’t have the fear of god, they are emboldened by the culture, by the music that they listen to, by the movies they watch, by the culture that they take into their spirit, right? None of these kids go to church on Sunday morning, these kids don’t have a fear of god, these kids don’t think about heaven and hell, and that’s the problem in our nation.” — Jack Brewer

The Fascist Felon’s son Eric offered an explanation for why his family has been profiting so obscenely from the presidency: “We didn’t have a damn choice.” The devil made them do it. So there.

Finally, a big huzzah to California Governor Gavin Newsom for stepping up to bat against fascism — specifically against the power grab in Texas. And one part of his strategy in particular is absolutely genius: parodying the Fascist Felon’s social media style of dopey, self-aggrandizing man-baby whining in ALL CAPS. For one thing, the MAGAs can’t bring attention to his tongue-in-cheek puerile snark without acknowledging the (genuine) puerile snark of their Lord And Master. Additionally, people really don’t appreciate what a potent weapon humor can be against tyranny; it was quite instrumental, for instance, in bringing down Milosevic in Serbia. And it seems to be having an effect; the Felon actually dispatched at least one post that was NOT all caps. And the White House account responded to Newsom by calling him “Newscum” and saying that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” Maybe they just don’t get what he’s doing. Fox “News”seems clueless about it, calling the kind of rhetoric the Governor has been using immature and “insane”. Ya don’t say. Okay, you’d expect cluelessness from those people. But not from The Guardian, which ran the headline: “Aggressive insults, grabbing all the headlines – Gavin Newsom is trying to be a Democratic version of T—p. Will voters buy it?” Let’s hope that most voters will be more savvy than this.

  1. WOW! Don’t know where to begin commenting on all these lies being used as attempts to brainwash the public. The Nazis considered the radio the divine instrument that was destined disseminate its true lies, and when people began disappearing into surrounding Concentrations camps, even those who said Hitlers was lying became understandably afraid to speak up, But lets hope the GOP does not use its lies to begin crack down on Democrats in the same ways.

Trump is busy suing and convincing the Scotus to grant him his wishes, so much so. that sometimes he forgets to adequately hide all of their contradictions, even via ingenious and/or stupid, means. So will he succeed in using political widow dressing to sell what he is offering us-(one distortion and accusation after another)? We don’t know, but its all up to us to see through the facade and point out the man pulling levers behind the curtain. Will we succeed in exposing Trump’s propaganda and penetrating the vast conspiracies he uses to sell his mind narrowing brand of fear and rage? Only we may be able to succeed. But lets just know that there may be a point where its too late to turn back and thus allow authoritarian governments around the world to get a death grip on even the news we hear from liberal sources.

Its all up to us (We The People) and (only we) can throw a monkey wrench into Trump’s propaganda and conspiracy theories, even though lies his are nothing new and have been to burn our democracies to death, for decades now. So lets pay close attention to what is going on behind Trump’s strategy!
