1. There is no official :”Antifa”, meaning one entity with a central structure and goals. It’s a very loosely knit group of people, who were originally inspired by Hitler’s regime, to meet violence with violence, instead of passively being slaughtered, like so many German Jews were.

   As a Democrat and an American, myself and other liberals DO NOT support violence towards others as a productive or successful strategy used to inspire political dissent. Yet Republicans keep insisting (falsely) that Antifa is run by them “radical left liberals, “which the right continues to insist are really far left radicals i.e. Nazis.

   whoever the girl who said her boyfriend was a leader in Antifa was , her claims cannot be accepted without direct and provable evidence–unlike the claims made by the girl to imply that we dems are all (far-left radicals). It also might help her credibility to identify her “boyfriend,” before Trump’s legal maneuvers convince all of us of his guilt, without any evidence at all!

   The term Antifa, stands for “Anti Anti Fascist” However no democrat has ever agreed that using direct violence against pollical opponents–the results of which would only villainize Dems even more, among Republicans, Democrats and independents! So it would make as much sense as watching Hitlers openly vilifying Jews, and then hearing his supporters insist that he really was a non-violent pacifist
