“Burn in hell, you evil witch!” — Bishop Richard Ministries, on the death of Gloria Steinem.
When I saw this quote from Richard, I remembered what you described in your “Age Of Assholes” essay, Professor, and I am sorry to see that even ministers (or whatever Richard claims to be) are following the Twenty-First Century America prime directive of being an asshole. A particularly ugly one, in fact. I do not happen to believe in Zeus, Odin, God, or Santa Claus, but I’ve read a couple of verses in the Bible about judging others.
If Richard truly believes in his God, and hell, too, then he should study his Bible and Matthew 7:1–2, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
