Bubblegum Crucifix Award # 11

I will not apologize for preaching the Word of God. I will not apologize for stating facts. I will not negotiate with terrorists, among whom the LGBTHIV crowd is full of domestic terrorists.

The Bible is crystal clear that sodomites (homosexuals) deserve the death penalty carried out by a government that actually cares about the law of God….

Christians need to hate those people who hate God….

We expose perverts and pedophiles. No homos will ever be allowed to attend any church services. — Justin Zhong, pastor, Sure Foundation Church, Indianapolis

I got two questions: (a) is he selling his daughter into slavery as instructed by scripture, and (b) anybody wanna take bets that he himself is a pedo?

  1. Why should our government care about the law of God? We don’t make laws based on someone’s religious beliefs.

  2. There is a group I used to write comments with, when I had Facebook, and many truly religious, i.e. spiritual people on it, had a very different message. They pointed out that the Bible says God knows us in the womb, but if so why did he allow gays to be born? Of course the truth is, I suspect, that the Rabid Religious Right, fears its own wild impulses and adopts a position that grants them the task of reforming gays, something which of course makes gay people become full of self hatred after their Conversion therapy did not work. However, because the RRR feels that members of their faiths must be perfectly straight, that attitude only makes gay people feel suicidal when their sincerely desired change is not accomplished. And one of the contributors to the “Christians Against Trump” group on Facebook, called on Christians to defend the defenseless even if doing so draws criticism and puts their own reputations in jeopardy.

    But instead, to maintain their positions those in the RRR must deny and oppose modern psychiatry, As well as any branch of science that contradicts their self righteous dogma. Thus they will endlessly write scientifically ridiculous statements that claim the Earth is known to have been made in seven days, and to echo many parts of the Bible which prohibit “laying with another man” or “with another woman.” I have even heard the RRR defend the way that Moses sentenced a few of his followers to be stoned to death in order to punish them for gathering wood on the sabbath and breaking Mosaic law, and such people always claim that God had to be that cruel to make us obedient once Jesus arrived? And it’s also worth noting that despite stereotyping Sodom and Gomorrah as the playground of Godless gays, for what its worth, Biblical scholars say both cities were also full of many perverted straight people who got off on some pretty twisted stuff. Jesus himself did not condemn gays, blacks, or people from other places, because all of that is built on fears constructed by biased crusaders or religious hypocrites. He did monition that a man and a woman can have children But WOW! the fears of the religious right must run deep if they say things like;

    “The Bible is crystal clear that sodomites (homosexuals) deserve the death penalty carried out by a government that actually cares about the law of God….”

    The truth is that the institution of marriage is not built just on raising children, but also on the love shared by the betrothed. And that, gay couples can have children through the use of surrogate mothers who agree to give them the child once it is born, and the child may contain the genes of one member of a gay couple.

    Yes it’s no secret that when a single sperm cell enters a female ovum that is the only way to initiate the life of a living breathing human being. But does God not approve of a straight couple that uses the Pill, a vasectomy or some other scientifically assisted way of preventing pregnancy? If that were the case, would it also be a sin to use condemns, or birth control pills, or even to have a legal abortion that saves the life of the mother, her child, or both of them.

    But unfortunately when people are full of fear or overcome by personal tragedies, its seems normal for them to begin blaming other Sinners, like gays, Lesbians, Muslims, or even cause members of a fundamentalist faiths to shout “God hates soldiers!) while the funeral of a fallen gay soldier was being conducted nearby. And what is truly sad is that the many biases that people have, blinds all of us to reality and the fact that they are really trying to fight a war based on bias or fear, and their fight is usually against those who commit victimless crimes, Like “gays,” radical left liberals,” Jews or “Hollywood elites even though none of these manufactured villains has ever done a single thing to hurt them, or place their lives in danger! So God help us if any of those in the RRR is able to take complete control of the country that has been built and enjoyed by all of us, and let also hope that none of them literally kill or disparages anyone who has never done anything truly sinful to any of them!

    I have known gay people who want to be in sacred unions with each other, and they have never tried to force anyone else to be like them. So the fact that they pledge all their love, including shared financial responsibilities, lets me know that they are in it for all the right reasons, after all, If they just wanted wild promiscuous sex, why would they need to get married and make a public ceremony to ensure life-long fidelity with each other? My belief is that God hates no one, especially those committed to love and faithfulness. But perhaps he is upset that it takes all of us so long to lay aside bias and hatred, and make this world right again?

    I’d also like to clear up a serious misconception used by the right to discredit and promote bias against women who have abortions, even though having that procedure is bound to be personally, a very difficult decision for them to make. However those of us who are pro-choice are not of that mind because we want to murder babies–of course not!–but we do think such potentially traumatic and difficult decisions should be agreed upon by both the mother and her family, not an arbitrary judgement made by the government!
