The Harsh view of Jesus on imigrants?–remember that Good Samaritan parable? Or maybe someone can claim it was all about ill will, amd not helping and injured man out of a ditch, taking him in and clothe and feed him until he was as strong and healhy enough enough to recover? (I alsobelive the good Samaritan would not accept any pay for his charity. The Samaritans were from an area not alighed with Israel the Jews, or those who believed in him, but guess what? this kind of charity was exactly the kind of compassion Jesus wants us to undertake in his name. Perhaps some people are reading from the X rated version of the New Testament rather than the one in whch Christ supported love, compassion, non materialm or pride. The X verision is pretty rough and not rated for those who actually care for others. But if you want to read about it try contacting the Southern Baptist Church in America–you know, the ones who hollered obscentities at a funeral service honoring dead soldiers, just because they were gay? Maybe they understand why more young people are droping out of fundamentalists faiths (not radical left liberals)!
Hears what AI said about the parable;
“No, Good Samaritan did not take any pay; in fact, he provided significant financial aid out of his own pocket to ensure the injured man was cared for.
Looks like someone is going to line up with the goats on Jesus’s left when final judgement comes.
[…] …who explains the harsh views of Jesus toward immigrants. […]
Many atheists seem to have a better understanding of what Jesus really taught us. Even if they see him as a mortal man.
